QUTRIT Core Concept QUTRIT is a desktop application that enables a 3-Way Chat between User (The human seeking solutions), Google Gemini, and OpenAI ChatGPT. By involving two AIs with different design philosophies in a discussion, it supports multifaceted, high-quality decision-making and idea generation. ## 2. Key Features & What It Can Do - **Read Internal Documents (Local Folder Sharing)** Simply add a folder on User's PC to QUTRIT, and the AI will understand the contents of PowerPoint, Excel, PDF, etc., to generate answers. For PDFs, it can even read visual information like graphs and images. - QUTRIT's access is strictly read-only for safety. - Word documents are not supported. - **Cloud Tool Integration** Connect with Notion or Atlassian (Confluence/Jira) to let the AI reference the latest internal information. - QUTRIT's access is strictly read-only for safety. - **Secure Local Storage (Local-First)** All chat history, settings, and shared file information are stored locally on User's PC. It is designed securely to prevent confidential information from leaking externally. - **Web Search and URL Reading** When User wants to look up the latest information or summarize a specific web page, the AI can automatically search the web or read the contents of a specified URL. - **Auto-Discussion Between AIs** User can have Gemini and ChatGPT debate with each other. User can choose to see only the final conclusion, or view the intermediate process if necessary. - **Prompt Templates** User can register up to 4 frequently used instructions as templates and call them with a single click from the buttons below the chat input field, such as: - "Please answer after checking the internal wiki on Confluence." - "Make sure to check the documents in the shared 'Project' folder." ## 3. Modes and Plans QUTRIT offers two modes. For detailed plan features and pricing, user can visit the official website. For payment, QUTRIT uses Stripe. - **Self-Serve Mode** A mode where User uses their own API keys obtained from Google and OpenAI. User can chat with the AIs without token limit, but User will need to pay the API usage fees directly to each AI provider. (User's API keys are encrypted and stored securely in the OS standard credential store: Windows Credential Manager / macOS Keychain). - Self-Serve Free: No payment to QUTRIT. Only fast, lightweight models are available. - Pro Plan: A paid monthly subscription plan with unlimited access to all features. - **Managed Mode** A mode that requires no API keys and is ready to use immediately for a monthly fee. The number of times and duration User can chat with the AI varies depending on the plan (Token limit). - Managed Free: No payment to QUTRIT. Only fast, lightweight models are available. - Standard Plan: A paid monthly subscription plan. Allows access to advanced thinking models and longer chat times compared to the free trial. - Plus Plan: A paid monthly subscription plan. An upgrade from Standard, allowing even longer chat times. ## 4. Tips - **Share Internal Wiki with AI** User can connect Notion, Confluence or Jira with QUTRIT. AI can provide context-aware support by reading internal wiki, team documents etc.. This requires the user to explicitly tell AI "Read this wiki on our Notion". User can use 'prompt template'. - **File sharing cloud services** QUTRIT currently does not support file sharing services like Google Drive or Dropbox. However, user can use desktop-sync and then share those local files with QUTRIT. This way, AI knowledge is always up to date. ## 5. Specific Operation Guide (How to Use) ### Basic Screen Layout - **Settings Screen**: Click the "Gear icon" in the bottom left corner to open various settings. - **Account & Plan Management**: Click the "Circular avatar icon" in the top right corner to check or change User's current plan. - **Side Menu**: Click the Hamburger menu icon in the top left corner to open the side menu. - **History Search**: Search past chat histories from the search box at the top of the side menu. ### How to share PC folders with AI? 1. Click the "Gear icon" in the bottom left to open Settings. 2. Select the "Expand AI Knowledge" tab at the top. 3. Click the "Add Folder" button in the "Share Folders on Your PC" section and select the folder User choose to share with AI. 4. The AI can now search and reference information within the folder. ### How to connect Cloud Tools (Notion / Atlassian)? 1. Click the "Gear icon" in the bottom left to open Settings. 2. Select the "Expand AI Knowledge" tab at the top. 3. Click the green "Connect Notion" or "Connect Atlassian" button in the "Connect External Tools" section and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the connection. 4. The AI can now search and reference information within Notion or Atlassion (Confluence, Jira). ### How to register Templates? 1. Click the "Gear icon" in the bottom left to open Settings. 2. Select the "Templates" tab at the top. 3. Enter the "Button Text" (e.g., Compare from multiple perspectives) and "Template Text" (e.g., Gemini and ChatGPT, please analyze...), then click "Save" in the bottom right (Up to 4 can be registered). ### How to change Models or API Keys? 1. Click the "Gear icon" in the bottom left to open Settings. 2. Select the "Model Settings" tab at the top. 3. User can change the model type and "Reasoning Effort" (depth of thought) for Gemini and ChatGPT. User needs to enter the "API Keys" here, when using Self-Managed mode. ### How to check Plans or Upgrade (Change Modes)? 1. Click the circular avatar icon in the top right corner. 2. Click "View Plans" from the menu. 3. The mode selection screen will appear. User can choose between "Self-Serve Mode" using own API key or "Managed Mode" requiring no API key. 4. Once the user select a mode, the plan selection screen will appear on which User can select a plan. Selecting a paid plan will open Stripe screen for the user to make the payment. 5. **Recovering Limits (Quick Refill)**: If User reaches the token limit while using Managed Mode (either Standard plan or Plus plan), User can purchase "Quick Refill ($3.99)" from the chat screen to instantly recover the limit and continue chatting. ### How to change Display Theme or Language? 1. Click the "Gear icon" in the bottom left to open Settings. 2. Select the "Accessibility" tab at the top. 3. User can change the "Theme" (System/Light/Dark) and "Language" (日本語/English).
